Opening of new restaurant outlets is always welcomed as Invisible Hand is put to work to create more competition among businesses. And so is Noble Family Steak House welcomed to its new home in Taipan USJ10, Malaysia.
Apparently this Taiwanese franchise restaurant outlet in Taipan USJ10 is the first in Malaysia. Tried out with parents but was rather disappointed, to be true.
They serve main course meal of steak (cooked to different level of your choice), squid, salmon, lamb chop and chicken. Sadly no pork is served, but that's still fine with me. And salad bar with unlimited flow of 'premium' ice cream, bread, fruit juice, salad and what-not. is provided.

With an order of a main course meal, you get to enjoy free flow of salad bar; or else you could just pay for the salad bar according to your height and eat till you drop.
The price ranges from RM 39-RM60, which I thought was rather pricey. I mean, with that price that you pay, you could have enjoyed a nice meal of buffet with fresh oysters and PREMIUM ice cream like Haagen Dazs or Baskins, but not MatKool Rainbow. To be honest, I was slightly let down despite the nice ambiance and classy feel of the place.

The restaurant gives me a chinesey buffet style feel. Food was nice, but just NICE: nothing more than ordinary. The sauce to accompany the steak was good, but not special lahh. But I liked the way they cooked my lamb, again: just nice. Not overcooked! :)

It was full house yesterday so it's better to make reservation before you go unless you don't mind sitting beside smelly drain outside.
My rating? 3 out of 5. It ain't that bad but guess I would rather go for a decent buffet with that pricing.
Noble Family Steak House 贵族世家牛排 is located beside True Fitness Gym in Taipan USJ. Very strategic spot.
