That was exactly what I did with my 16 other close college mates at Port Dickson, just a couple of weeks ago: building fond memories before we part for a better future. :)
Anyway, the idea of sleeping above the sea is pretty cool, but rest assured, these chalets aren't kampung style houses-on-stilts. They are 4-star decent chalets with bathtub and Plasma TVs, overlooking the breathtaking Straits of Malacca. It's all cool and awesome, especially during the evenings! The panoramic view of the last ray of sunlight shining on the sea is sufficient to sweep you off your feet.
I like the sunbed and the lazy chairs at the balcony the most. For those who love to read like me, those two spots are just ideal for your serious hobby! Especially after a lovely swim at the pool or beach, it's just pure bliss to lie on the chair and read all you want.
And, and, and, their shower room has an open-sky roof concept. So you practically can have the stars and moon to accompany you shower at night :)
If BBQ is your thing, you can run to the next door hotel, the Glory Hotel to borrow their facilities. Just set up your equipment by the beach, the management doesn't really bother.
And, if you're lucky like me, you might even get to watch meteor by the beach with a gang of awesome friends! :D
